![]() I hate that feeling of waiting for card A so you can play card B and then so you can play card C all while sitting on card B and C. Check out Stonekeep on Twitter Leave a Reply Cancel reply. You really need to draw your deathrattle minions early and play them in order to do anything meaningful. Hes the current admin of Hearthstone Top Decks. Before Undead Priest was a real thing and they had JUST released the mini-set, Melphina and I were playing with pretty much the same deck as it exists today with a few card difference since we were in early stages of experimenting (let’s be honest, it’s not hard to build the deck because the cards practically form the deck themselves - we were still experimenting with Xyrella popping off if you couldn’t kill the opponent fast and needed a finisher and hadn’t yet put Voidtouched Attendant into the deck)Įvery game seemed like a high roll of awesome draw or you just had cards like Undying Allies and Animate Dead in had at the start and you just did nothing for several turns. I got to the point where I was in the “days” range, not playing for days, but then I occasionally hit an enjoyable pocket of the meta which encourages me to play a bit more. My advice, if you are feeling the meta is awful, take a break, then check back every few hours, then if its still bad, check back every few days, and if its still bad, check back every few months. Tier 2: Competitive decks that have a few slight weaknesses (e.g. Very bad experience, as its literally luck of the draw that determines this, yet a lot of players are flocking to this deck, which makes for an awful meta when that happens. Tier 1: Well-optimized decks with extremely efficient and overwhelmingly powerful combos and card synergies that makes losing against these decks feel helpless and unfair. But its a very high-rolly deck it seems, as my record vs spriest is decent (50+) percent, but a lot of games feel like theres nothing I could do to win since they output 30+ damage in less than 5 turns, and other games, they happen to draw like a turd and do nothing for like 2 to 3 turns. If shadow priest gets a good mulligan + draw, they can kill you before turn 5, no kidding, I’ve lost turn 4 to a shadow priest, while gaining armor I might add. Shadow priest is worth its own discussion. Then at some point during the day or night, all the sweaty players seem to log on, and then just grind grind grind with whatever is the flavour of the day, week or month. Heck, I recently played a energy shaper mage, which, at this rank, I have never seen, it’s something like a t4 deck. This is because it would be too time-consuming to adjust deck codes for every new format.I’m currently playing 1k legend, closer to the <500 rank, and I find there’s pockets or bursts during the day when things become more enjoyable, and I run into various different decks. Here’s a full list of sets you can build your Twist decks with:ĭecks are sorted by date, those on the top are the latest and on the bottom are the oldest.ĭeck codes won’t work for most of the Twist formats – you need to copy the deck manually. A total of ~75 cards got buffed in the last major patch, you can see all of the changes here. 10 Top Standard Hearthstone Decks for the Middle of July - Standard Meta Snapshot Hound Hunter Enrage Warrior Outcast Demon Hunter Totem Shaman Relic Demon. ![]() While it might not seem like a very meaningful change, thanks to the recent roundup of buffs, Un’goro might make a decent impact on the meta. ![]() It’s basically the first Wonders format from September, just with an addition of another expansion – Journey to Un’Goro. Current Twist Format – Wonderful Un’GoroĬurrent Twist format is called “Wonderful Un’Goro” and it’s the extension of the previous “Wonders” formats. It doesn’t mean that they are going to be the same (first and second are similar, but a bit different), just that all of them will include that set. Hearthstone meta decks are everchanging, and we are here to explore the latest and best ones that are currently being played. We’ve also learned that Caverns of Time – the new straight-to-Wild expansion – will be available in Twist for its first three seasons. The idea behind Twist is that the format will rotate every couple of seasons (or even every season), changing the list of available expansions, possibly with some extra rules. It’s the first major addition to Hearthstone since Mercenaries (which, looking back at it, was a mostly failed experiment). Twist has officially launched! A new mode first released into Beta back in June is now back in full swing. After that, Twist will go down in January and come back with a new format in February. Update: Season 4 is now live but it’s the same format as last month, so all of the decks below are still good.
